ABOUT

HISTORY

Getty was born in Ishgard and grew up in the Brume. As a child of a poor household, certain luxuries were unavailable to them, as well as necessities. Due to complications with an infection at a young age, and the price of medicine being too steep for her parents, Getty received permanent hearing loss in one ear.
Just old enough for this to be formative, Gethwine became resentful of how inaccessible basic necessities were to those who could not afford it. She devoted herself to her studies from then on, and as a young woman moved to Ul'dah and joined the Alchemist's Guild.
She currently devotes herself to providing medicines and other remedies to everyone for a reasonable price, (sometimes pro bono depending on the case).
